Wilmington, NC - The Cape Fear Community College volleyball team swept Central Carolina 3-0 in their season-opener in Sanford on Friday night.
"We definitely have some things to strengthen, but I'm proud of our hard work and we are off to a great start this season," said CFCC Coach Emily Coleman.
Lydia Smith led the Sea Devils attack with seven kills, while Kaley Evans recorded 19 digs.
CFCC returns to the court for back-to-back matches against Meredith College and Mt. Olive College on Tuesday.
