Louisburg, NC - Cape Fear Community College picked up its second win in as many nights and moved to 1-0 in conference play as the Sea Devils cruised to a 3-0 sweep at Louisburg College on Friday night.
"Just a great first conference win," said CFCC Coach Emily Coleman. "It was a tough atmosphere because they had great fans, but we came in and did our job and controlled the tempo of the game."
Kaley Evans played a strong defensive game for Cape Fear with 25 digs, while Kate Meagher and Riley Litton chipped in with four kills apiece. Brittani Jefferson was a force at net with fiveblocks.
The Sea Devils (3-0) return to the floor Sunday for matches against Guilford Tech and Brunswick CC in Bolivia.
