Women's Volleyball Bounces Back

Raleigh, NC - The women's volleyball team snapped a five game losing streak, beating conference opponent Wake Tech Community College on the road 3-0.

The Sea Devils won each set by scores of 25-13, 25-8, and 25-20.

"We started off extremely strong, and then Wake fought back," said head coach Emily Coleman after the game.

Amber Tyndall and Bailey Toman both lead the Sea Devils with 10 kills.

After a tough weekend in Florida, the Sea Devils put in a dominant performance against a Wake Tech, who came into today's match with a record of 11-4.

"We've been working on fighting and finishing games," said Coleman. "I'm proud of their drive."

The win gives the Sea Devils a conference record of 4-1, and 4-6 overall. They will play again on Saturday, September 17th, at home against Guilford Technical Community College at 1:00 p.m.
