Winterville, NC - The Cape Fear women's volleyball team extended their winning streak to six matches in a row, defeating Pitt Community College by a score of 3-0.
Despite sweeping the match in three sets, it was a closely contested match, with Cape Fear winning by scores of 25-21, 25-20, and 25-22.
Bailey Toman led the Sea Devils with 10 kills and 12 digs, while Tressa Amico recorded six kills and six blocks.
"We played really well as a team tonight," said head coach Emily Coleman. "Pitt had strong defense, [but] we stayed in control and were able to execute."
Cape Fear improves to 9-6 on the season with the win, and 9-1 in conference.
Their next game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on October 1st, where they will take on Lenoir Community College away from home.
