Women's Volleyball Moves on in NJCAA Region 10 Tournament

Raleigh, NC - Cape Fear women's volleyball defeated Brunswick Community College 3-0 on Friday in their first match of the NJCAA Region 10 tournament. The Sea Devils won by scores of 25-15, 25-17, and 25-19, respectively.

Sophomore Amber Tyndall finished with eight kills, while sophomore Faryn Salazar had 16 assists and five digs.

"It's always hard to play a team multiple times and win, but it's tournament time, and we need to continue to fight every match," said head coach Emily Coleman afterwards. "We look forward to another challenge tomorrow."

With the win, Cape Fear moves on to the next round of the conference tournament. They will play tomorrow at noon against the winner of the match between Surry Community College and Lenoir Community College.
