Bolivia, NC - Cape Fear women's volleyball edged NC Wesleyan this weekend by a score of 3-2.
Middles Madison Spencer and Shilah Haumann were unstoppable, finishing with seven and six kills, respectively, with no errors.
Freshman Taylor Gainey led the team with 12 kills.
"We are fighters," said head coach Emily Coleman of her players. "They continue to impress me with their ability to never give up. NC Wesleyan was a tough team that picked up everything."
With the win, the Sea Devils remain undefeated at 3-0. They will head to New Port Richey, Florida this weekend to compete in the PHSC Bobcat Invitational. Their first match is scheduled for Friday, September 8th at 11:00 a.m. against Florida Gateway College.
