Sea Devils Continue Winning Ways

Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear women's volleyball continued winning ways on Thursday beating Wake Tech CC 3-0.

The Sea Devils won the first set by a close margin of 25-20.  They came out stronger for the second and third matches winning 25-15 and 25-19. 

Ceri'on Ellis Mosley led with 8 kills, and Emily Steyskal had 6 kills, while Maryellie Carpenter had 11 digs.  Angelica Biele finished with 3 aces, 8 digs and 16 assists.  And Naomi Pegues finished with 12 assists. 

Coach Heather Emborsky commented on her team's play, "Amazing teamwork tonight against a tough Wake Tech team. They were very focused and determined to play their best. Proud of the win tonight."

Cape Fear improves to 10-3 on the season and 6-1 in conference play.

Their next match is Saturday, October 12th, where they will face Surry CC at 12 noon and Central Carolina CC at 4 p.m. at home in the Schwartz Center.
