Wilmington, NC - Sea Devil Athletics and the CFCC Foundation are partnering with Tops Athletics to bring the Wilmington community the 5th Annual Bridge to Bridge 4.0 run / 1.0 walk, which is a 4-mile course that will take participants from the Isabel Holmes Bridge to the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge through some of the most scenic areas of downtown Wilmington, NC. The race for scholarships will take place Friday, June 10th, at 7:30 pm.
"This race has helped numerous students over the past five years fulfil their dream of higher education," said Ryan Mantlo, CFCC Athletic Director. "Tops Athletics has embedded itself in our culture in the athletic department and we could not thank them enough for being our title sponsor for the event."
The finish line consists of a celebration with food, beverages and community supporters. Funds raised will support student scholarships at CFCC.
Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Finishers, both male and female. The Top Masters Finisher, both male and female. The Top 2 Finishers per age group, both male and female. Age groups are as follows.
15 and under
16-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70 and over
Largest team, as well as the most spirited team
The four-mile early bird registration costs $25, while the one-mile walk is $20. You can also register on the day of the event, $30 for the four-mile run, and $25 for the walk.
