Wilmington, NC (September 27, 2023) - Cape Fear Volleyball returned to their home court on Tuesday evening to take on the Fayetteville Tech Trojans and continue Region 10 Conference play with a 3-0 sweep.
The Sea Devils controlled the pace of play throughout all 3 Sets as they continued to develop more deceptive attacks and work through various defensive scenarios as a cohesive unit. Cape Fear dominated at the serving line and were able to keep the Trojans on their heels throughout the evening.
Overall, the Sea Devils finished the match with 17 total aces while newcomer Quincy Vanderhorst led the charge with 4 to herself. Mackenzie Davis stood out with 12 kills and 8 digs over the Trojans while Abby Morse had her season high of 9 kills in one match. Leah Davis and London Ipsen each earned 11 digs while Sarah Siebert had 4 kills with a solid solo block.

The Sea Devils' next matchups will be on the road versus Cleveland CC in Shelby, NC on Friday, September 29th at 7 PM, followed by Southwest VA on Saturday at 12 PM at Cleveland CC as a neutral site.
