4th Annual NewBridge Bank Bridge to Bridge 4.0

On June 11, 2015, over 330 runners participated in the 4th Annual NewBridge Bank Bridge to Bridge Run and Walk in downtown Wilmington.

Proceeds from the race surpassed $15,000, and will be used to fund student scholarships at Cape Fear Community College.

“It’s exciting for Cape Fear Community College to partner with NewBridge Bank and to offer our community an activity that promotes healthy living while at the same time providing a fun, competitive atmosphere.  On behalf of Sea Devil Athletics and our student-athletes, we thank all of the participants, sponsors and supporters of the race.  Scholarships are so important to our students, and the money raised from this event will help many students achieve their dream of continuing their education,” said Robert McGee, Director of Athletics at CFCC.

“NewBridge Bank has enjoyed partnering with Cape Fear Community College on the Bridge to Bridge 4.0 since its inception four years ago. We are thrilled with the turnout and support of many community members who enable this event to fund student scholarships,” said Paul McCombie, Executive Vice-President for NewBridge Bank.  “Part of NewBridge Bank’s vision is to support our communities and we are proud to have the opportunity to do so with this race.”
