Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear Community College dominated off the opening tip on both ends of the floor as the Sea Devils cruised to a 95-33 win over Wake Tech in women's basketball action at the Schwartz Center on Wednesday night.
Led by Alexius Hampton and Eboni Gilliam all five starters in the Cape Fear lineup finished in double figures to secure the victory. Hampton and Gilliam scored a game-high 18 points apiece, while Jasmine Brown and Kristina Rumplasch added 16 points.
The Sea Devils moved to 7-2 in conference and 12-4 overall. Cape Fear has now won four straight games heading into a grueling seven game road trip beginning at Brunswick Community College on Thursday, Jan. 15.
