Wilmington, NC - Kristina Rumplasch poured in a game-high 25 points as Cape Fear Community College extended its win streak to five straight following a 77-59 victory over Lenoir Community College in women's basketball action at the Schwartz Center on Monday.
Alexius Hampton chipped in with 15 and Jasmine Brown added 14 points for the Sea Devils, who moved to 14-3 in conference and 21-5 overall. Cape Fear also improved to 7-1 on their home floor and continues a six-game home stand against Region 10 rival Brunswick Community College on Friday, Feb. 13.
The 5 p.m. tip-off will serve as the front end of a doubleheader as the Sea Devils men's basketball team square off against the Dolphins following the conclusion of the women's game.
Coach Lori Drake and the Cape Fear women are ranked at No. 20 in the National Junior College Athletic Association's Top-20 poll.
