Bolivia, NC - Coming off a six-point victory last night on day one of the Brunswick Holiday Classic, the Cape Fear Community College men's basketball team cruised to an 81-62 victory over Caldwell Tech. Cape Fear was able to lead wire to wire in part to a big performance from Mike Chambers and Tyrek Coger. The duo combined for 44 points to pace the Sea Devils.
"Sometimes day two can be tough to continue to play fundamentally solid, but I thought our guys did a great job today," commented Sea Devil Head Coach Ryan Mantlo. "We have struggled a little with consistency so the way we played today was very pleasing."
The Sea Devils moved to 11-5 overall and close the year against Harford Community College at 4 p.m. on Friday.
