Wilmington, NC - Back on the floor for the first time in 2016, the Cape Fear Community College men's basketball team cruised to a 121-86 victory over Port City Prep on Saturday night.
"We were able to score in bunches tonight," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "But, it was really frustrating to give up so many points. We must continue to get better defensively if we are going to have a chance to win a championship."
Josh Lindsey poured in a game high 34 points to lead the Sea Devils while Ole Miss commit Tyrek Coger dropped in 23 points and 11 rebounds to help guide Cape Fear to its fourth straight win.
Cape Fear moved to 13-5 overall and remain 2-0 in league play heading into a matchup with Saint Andrews JV on Tuesday, Jan. 12.
