Denmark, SC - Men's basketball defeats Denmark Technical College 65-60!
As the season begins to dwindle down, our guys are still fighting hard and coming out on top! The Sea Devils put on an impressive defensive game by holding their opponent to only 60 points. Standout players included Torey James who led with 26 points, Dakari Johnson had 18 points, and Talton Jones scored 14 points.
Coach Mark Lane says "Anytime you can get a win on the road is huge, we were down for most of the game, but our guys kept chipping away. Kamron Greene really stepped up and helped us get the win. Trayvon also was big off the bench in key moments".
They are now 18-7 on the season and 6-3 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Monday, February 24th against Spartanburg Methodist. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. in the Schwartz Center.
