Wilmington, NC - Men's basketball defeats Denmark Technical College 117-83!
The Sea Devils were able to earn a huge conference victory in their last regular season game. Their 117 points in this game, was the most points they scored all season. Standout players were; Dakari Johnson 34 points, Torey James 22 points, Talton Jones 14 points, and Trayvon Ferrell 18 points.
Coach Mark Lane says "Today's game was all about the Sophomores, Hunter Meyer, Trayvon Ferrell and Torey James are all great kids and they all helped contribute to the win. Excited for what lies ahead for them".
They finish the regular season with a 20-8 overall record and 8-4 in conference play.
The Sea Devils look ahead to the NJCAA Region 10 Conference Tournament. Their first game of the tournament is set for Thursday, March 5th against Spartanburg Methodist. Tipoff is set for 3:00 p.m. at Sandhills Community College.
