Wilmington, NC - Coach Ryan Mantlo's Cape Fear Community College Sea Devils men's basketball team journeys to play Chipola -- the number 7th ranked junior college team in the country Friday in Waycross, Georgia.
The Sea Devils, fresh from a 91-80 win over Raleigh's Wake Tech on Tuesday, picked up their third victory in the last four outings.
"We are continuing to get better each day," coach Mantlo commented. "The future is very bright if we can continue to be hungry and not become complacent."
The Sea Devils led the contest throughout, taking a 42-37 advantage into the half. Cape Fear opened up the game in the second, leading by as many as 18 points. Osandai Vaughn and Anthony Vanhook led the winners with 26 and 25 points respectively, followed by JT Muphy's 17 point 11 rebound performance.
