Cape Fear faced early adversity - falling behind by double digits in the first half. However, the Sea Devils showed resilience and clawed their way back to cut the deficit to just 4 points at halftime. They carried that momentum into the second half, taking the lead early before Denmark Tech responded with a run of their own. With the game hanging in the balance, it all came down to defense, mental toughness, and clutch free-throw shooting.

JJ Moore led the charge throughout the matchup as he paced the Sea Devils with a game-high 29 points, controlling the tempo and making plays when it mattered most. Avion Pinner was a force on both ends, notching a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. When it came time to seal the win, AuMauri Tillman and Jefferson McLamb stepped up, knocking down key free throws in the final moments to secure the victory.
