WILMINGTON, NC - CFCC Women's Soccer Head Coach Chris Libert has announced the signing of 13 players for the 2012 Fall NJCAA Women's Soccer Season.
The class includes Jodie Barber, Jamie Berti, Ashlee Bogenn, Sam Culbertson, Sierra Davis, Alex Duty, Tanay Ellis, Haley Laurie, Anna Mixon, Lauren Smith, Brittany Tant, Ashley Vanvekoven, and Jessie Wilson. All 13 players will enroll in classes in the fall and join the Sea Devils as Freshmen for the 2012 season.
"We are very excited for these young ladies to join our team, they will certainly add depth and competition at every position," said Libert. "We can't wait to get started in August, and begin our work to regain the Region 10 Conference Championship."
"While these new players will add depth to our team, our coaching staff is also very excited about our returning players," said Libert.
The Sea Devils look to add to their five Region 10 Titles in only six years of existence as a NJCAA Division 1 Women's Soccer member.
Jodi Barber (Forward | Jacksonville, NC | White Oak HS)

All Conference. 2010: 42 goals 21 assists, All-Conference, All-Region, Offensive "Player of the Year". 2011: 48 goals 22 assists, All-Conference, All-Region. 2012: 59 goals 23 assists, All-Conference, All-Region, All-State, East/West All Star Selection, Offensive "Player of the Year", NCHSAA 3A State Champions - 2 goals, 3A State Championship MVP.

High School: Four Year Varsity Letter Winner. NCHSAA State Champions: 2010 and 2012. 2011 NCHSAA State Champions Runners-Up. 3-time All-Conference. 2011 and 2012 All Region. 2012: Captain, 1-A Coastal Plains All-Conference "Player of the Year", Wendy's Heisman Female Athlete at SWHS, Pepsi Player of the Week, Team Most Valuable Player, Daily News All Area 1st Team. NCHSAA All-State. 21 goals and had 7 assists.

Ashlee Bogenn (Defender | Greenville, NC | DH Conley HS)

Sam Culbertson (Defender | Wake Forest, NC | Wake Forest-Rolesville HS)
High School: Four Year Varsity Letter Winner. Two time Academic All-Conference, 2012 All Conference, 2012 All Region, 2012 Team MVP, and final voting for all state senior year.
CLUB: CASL - Member of '93 Elite. 2011 NCYSA State Cup Semi-Finalist.
Sierra Davis (Midfielder/Forward | Jacksonville NC | White Oak HS)
High School: 2009 & 2012 NCHSAA 3A State Champions. All Conference 2010, 2011, 2012. All Region 2009, 2010, 2011. 2012 East/West All-Star Participant
Club: OCSA - Ranked 7th in the State in Soccer in College, Premier Level Player since 2007
Alexis Duty (Midfielder/Defender | Waxhaw, NC | Cuthbertson HS)
High School: 2010 NCHSAA State Semifinalist. Scored the winning penalty kick in the 4thRound of PK's, to win the 2011 NCHSAA 2A State Championship. 2012: Captained the team to a second straight Conference Championship and a second State Championship appearance, scoring 17 goals and 19 assists. 2010 All-Conference Honorable Mention. 2011 and 2012 All-Conference and All-Region.

High School: Played varsity soccer since the 7th grade. Scored 86 goals and 47 assists, during high school career. Named All-Conference, All-Region and All-Fayetteville Observer. Junior year, placed 3rd in the NCISAA state track in the 100 meters.
