Wilmington, NC - The Cape Fear Community College men's basketball team extended their winning streak to five as the Sea Devils picked up a 94-89 win over USC-Salkehatchie at the Schwartz Center on Friday night.
"I'm so proud of our boys tonight, said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "They battled and would never give up. We had some great support tonight from the community and look forward to tomorrow's matchup in South Carolina."
Four different players scored in double figures for Mantlo's club as Osandai Vaughn hit for a game-high 19 points. Anthony Vanhook and Aaron Thomas each dropped 16 apiece and Demetres Abrams chipped in with 11 to pace the Sea Devils.
Cape Fear (2-1, 12-10) gets right back on the floor Saturday with a trip to the Palmetto State for a 5 p.m. tip-off against Clinton Junior College.
