Sea Devils Off To Fast Start

Wilmington, NC- The Cape Fear Volleyball team has had a stellar start this season. The Sea Devils currently have a 9-1 overall record and 7-1 in conference play.

Leading all players this season is Sophomore Jenna Baranowski with 124 kills on the season, while Taylor Simpson has dished out a tremendous 243 assists. Meg Knoerzer has controlled the net with 17 total blocks.

"The girls are working hard and getting better every day. They have completely bought in to the new system and are taking off," stated head coach Tabitha Turner.

The Sea Devils travel to Kinston, North Carolina this evening for a conference tilt with Lenoir Community College.   The match is slated for 6 P.M.  The Sea Devils then return home on Sunday October 7th, as they battle Wilkes Community College.  Game time is set for 6:00 in the Schwartz Center.
