In Short: After falling to their conference rivals in the Championship game, Cape Fear Volleyball has its sights on the Division Finals and another shot at going to the NJCAA National Championships.

Highlights:

After battling throughout the weekend to get to the finals, Cape Fear fell to major Region 10 Conference competitors, the Richard Bland Statesmen, in the Conference Championship matchup on Saturday afternoon. Cape Fear Volleyball finishes conference tournament play with a 16-7 overall record.

However, Cape Fear Volleyball's post-season journey does not finish in Raleigh. The Sea Devils will now host the Southeast B District Championship match against the Walters State Senators this Friday night. The winner of this matchup will determine who receives an additional bid to the NJCAA Tournament alongside the Richard Bland Statesmen.

"Grateful to be playing in the Region 10 Championship match in back-to-back years - hats off to Richard Bland for having such a successful year," remarks Head Coach Colby Rosser. "And we're excited for this opportunity to compete again on Friday night…we look forward to making the most of this additional opportunity to make it to the National Tournament."

Cape Fear will take on Walters State on Friday, November 4th at 6PM in the Schwartz Center.
