Wilmington, NC - The Sea Devils pulled out a 66-64 triumph at home against Spartanburg Methodist to wrap up Saturday's doubleheader in downtown Wilmington and claim the Region 10 Regular Season Title.
Cape Fear extended its win streak to seven straight games, improved to 7-2 in Region 10 play and 20-8 overall.
"We struggled to find energy early, but proud of how we responded," said CFCC Coach Ryan Mantlo. "It's a great experience for the upcoming conference tournament."
TJ Evans put in a game-high 20 points and Anthony Vanhook chipped in with 14.
The Sea Devils finish their regular season schedule inside the friendly confines of the Schwartz Center against Clinton Junior College on Saturday, Feb. 28.
