In Short: Cape Fear Men's Basketball falls to Denmark Tech on the road

Highlights:

Sea Devil Men's Basketball traveled to Denmark, South Carolina to take on the Denmark Tech Panthers yesterday evening. Cape Fear kept things close as they ended the first half with a 35-31 lead, but were unable to close the game out as they finished with a final score of 65-73.

 

Korey Richardson led the Sea Devils with 15 points and was a key component of the Sea Devils' success throughout the game - playing 37 out of 40 total game minutes.

 

Daniel Ransom finished off the matchup with 10 points and 6 defensive rebounds while Josh Laney followed up with 8 points and 5 rebounds for the Sea Devils.

 

"We couldn't put 2 halves together tonight," remarks Head Coach Mark Lane. "We missed free throws and our turnovers hurt us. But Korey led us in scoring and Dillon provided good minutes coming off the bench."
