In Short: Cape Fear Men's Basketball falls to local rivals Brunswick in a close matchup on Wednesday night.

Highlights:

Sea Devils Men's Basketball took the short trek over to Brunswick Community College to take on the Dolphins this past Wednesday evening. Cape Fear has been determined to figure out their offensive flow and cohesiveness throughout the past few games on the road and were finally able to showcase their improvements throughout their battle against Brunswick.

At the end of the first half, Brunswick was up 47-46 over the Sea Devils. Cape Fear managed to make the most of their scoring opportunities and maintained solid ball movement throughout, although a few unfortunately sent the Dolphins to the foul line - where they went 81.1% in their free throws.

Keishon Porter led the charge for the Sea Devils with 28 points while Freshman Korey Richardson and Jaden Scriven followed with 13 points each.

Moving into the second half, Cape Fear began running out of gas on defense and let Brunswick get away with a few easy buckets. But the Sea Devils continued to push the pace on offense and nail some clutch baskets to keep them in the game.

By the end of the game, the Sea Devils caught a glimpse of their offensive strength and how far their team cohesion has improved on the court throughout the season. The team remains positive as they gear up for a conference rematch with a reinvigorated sense of togetherness.
