Americus, GA - South Georgia Tech upended Cape Fear Community College 86-76 in overtime on Saturday.
After a clutch three-ball from South Georgia Tech, and with the Sea Devils trailing by three in the waning seconds of regulation, Victoria Florence hit a half-court shot at the buzzer to send the game into extra time.
Alexuis Hampton scored a team-high 22 points to lead Cape Fear, while Kristina Rumplasch chipped in with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Eboni Gilliam and Jasmine Brown had 10 points apiece with Gilliam also snatching 11 rebounds.
The Sea Devils (1-1, 3-2) look to snap a two-game skid in Georgia on Sunday against #15 Darton State College.
