Americus, GA - Cape Fear Community College closed out the holiday weekend with a 74-68 win over #15 nationally ranked Darton State CC in women's basketball action on Sunday.
The result snapped a brief two-game slide and moved the Sea Devils to 4-2 overall.
Four different players finished in double figures as Eboni Gilliam led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Alexius Hampton chipped in with 13 points and Tori Florence contributed with 11 points and 12 assists. Kristina Rumplasch rounded out the double digit scoring for the Sea Devils as she netted 10 points.
Cape Fear opens a three-game home stand and returns to conference play against Catawba Valley on Saturday, Dec. 6 in the Schwartz Center. Game time is set for 2:00 pm.
