Wilmington, NC - Women's basketball loses to Catawba Valley Community College 80-63.
The Sea Devils struggled to covert on the offensive side of the court. They defeated this team last season but were unable to do the same again tonight. They look to better themselves as they have a few more games later this week.
Coach Lori Drake says "We did not compete today. We will learn from this loss and get better from it. We knew CVCC was coming for us after last season, and we didn't respond the way we should have".
They are now 6-3 on the season and 6-2 in conference play,
Their next game is scheduled for Monday, December 16th as they take on South Georgia Technical College. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. in the Schwartz Center.
