Cedar Bluff, VA - Women's basketball defeats Southwest Virginia 90-66!
The Sea Devils looked to be in great form as they beat a conference opponent by 24 points! We saw four Sea Devils score in double figures today: Kalaya Hall led with 20 points, Rashauna Grant scored 19 points, Jadin Gladden had 17 points, and Akyia King scored 13 points.
Coach Lori Drake says "We are really starting to buy into what we need to do to win a conference championship. Now it's time to keep our focus and keep working hard daily. I couldn't be more proud of our team today".
They are now 11-7 on the season and 8-3 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5th against Fayetteville Technical Community College. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. in Fayetteville, NC.
