Walterboro, SC - Women's basketball defeats USC Salkehatchie 85-74!
As the Sea Devils play their final regular season game, they look to be in great form heading into the Region 10 Tournament. Standout players for this game were Rashauna Grant who led in scoring with 32 points, Kalaya Hall had 19 points, and Jadin Gladden scored 15 points.
Coach Lori Drake says "We got off to a slow start tonight and had to dig ourselves out of a 12-point deficit. Our ladies really picked it up and had a solid 3rd and 4th quarter. It's time to focus and prepare for the Region 10 Tournament".
They end their regular season with a 16-7 overall record and a 13-3 conference record.
The Sea Devils look ahead to the NJCAA Region 10 Conference Tournament. The tournament runs from March 5th-7th in Martinsville, VA. The Sea Devils tournament seeding will be released as soon as all Region 10 regular season games are over!
