Americus, GA - Women's basketball defeats Albany Technical College 66-61!
The Sea Devils are back in the win column after back to back loses. It took a lot of grit and determination to get this win on the road. Rashauna Grant had 28 points and 20 rebounds, while Jada Nowlin had 12 points and 7 rebounds.
Coach Lori Drake says "We bounced back after two tough losses and showed a lot of character in our win today. Now it's time to prepare for all conference games from now until March".
They are now 8-6 on the season and 6-2 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, January 4th as they take on Southwest Virginia. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m. at the Schwartz Center.
