In Short: The CFCC Sea Devils clinch a 5-0 victory to kick off their season over the Louisburg College Hurricanes.

Highlights: After a late start due to the delayed end of the CFCC Men's Soccer double header, Sea Devils Women's Soccer kicked off at approximately 4:30 PM and hit the ground running as soon as they stepped onto the pitch - scoring their first goal over the Hurricanes in the first 5 minutes of the match. Freshman middie/forward Kristarae Poell led the Sea Devils in scoring with two goals in the first half. Meanwhile, with the help of the disciplined Sea Devils midfielders, Freshman striker Mia Marino was able to stretch the Hurricanes defense and put pressure on their weak points throughout the match. The overall hustle and team cohesion of the team lead the Sea Devils to a smooth victory to start their season.
