In Short: The Sea Devils finished the Region 10 Tournament with a Championship win over the Wake Tech Eagles

Highlights: CFCC returned to North Campus Soccer Stadium this Saturday afternoon to battle for the Region 10 Championship title over the Wake Tech Eagles. The Sea Devils' backline was the most composed they have been all season as their patience allowed them to keep possession of the ball for the majority of the game. Utilizing their midfield lines to make inside-outside passes up the pitch, the Sea Devils were able to string together numerous attacking opportunities throughout both halves. While the Eagle's defense were able to briefly contain our forwards as they made offensive runs in their attacking third, the Sea Devils finally earned one from Kristarae Poell (Soph.) with the assistance of Madalin Lewis (Fr.) in the first half to put the Sea Devils ahead.

The Wake Tech Eagles fought hard on their defensive end and kept the Sea Devils honest throughout the match. The Sea Devils eventually found their rhythm after the first goal and were able to consistently notch more onto the board to finish the match as Region 10 Champions.

Up Next: The Sea Devils will travel to Wichita, Kansas to compete in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in mid-November.
