In Short: The Sea Devils were able to close out their matchup against the competitive Wake Tech Eagles with a crucial goal towards the end of the match that ultimately gave them the 2-1 lead.

Highlights: After an intense battle between the two teams, the Sea Devils solidified another win on the road against the Wake Tech Eagles in Raleigh, NC. Head coach Dave Martin described the match as a "team win" as team cohesion played an important role in the match outcome for CFCC. The back line, lead by Alex Dompier (Soph.) and Lindley Schutte (Fr.) was composed and unwavering even after the Eagles' first goal of the match and was able to present a united front that shined through the rest of the game. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball, the Sea Devils' attack was able to keep possession and work together to notch this important conference win over the, especially athletic Eagles. While Coach Martin remarks that there is much to still improve on, the team is excited to notch another win into their undefeated season record so far.

Hannah Miller (Fr.) opened up the scoring for the Sea Devils attacking end, while the just-in-time goal by Madalin Lewis (Fr.) lead the Sea Devils to victory this afternoon.
