"Overall we played well and took advantage of our chances," said assistant coach Chris Harper. "Our back four kept us in the game; however, this team needs to keep its composure to be truly successful."

The back four of Edwards, Keaton Simmons, Eion Dockery, and Javi Ayala did a great job of limiting Wake Tech's chances. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Lucas Gusmao was superb in goal, finishing with 11 saves in the game.

"I'm very pleased with our performance tonight," said head coach C.W. Ponton. "We need to hold our composure and realize some teams will try and get the best of us when we're beating them. That being said we played well today."
