Women's Soccer Continues Winning Ways

Wilmington, NC - The Lady Sea Devils had an impressive win as they defeated Southwest Virginia 11-0!

The Sea Devils had a great offensive effort as there were multiple goal scorers in the game! In the first half Esperanza McKay tallied one goal, Trinity Davis had two goals, Sidney Corbin had two goals, Gracie Stoltz had one goal and Maggie Hall had one goal. They continued this scoring effort into the second half. Silken Carlton scored one goal, Braydon Lewis Mizlo had one goal, Maggie Hall scored her second goal of the day, while Sidney Corbin had her third goal of the game!

Coach Ryan Deppa says "The team did really well handling the game. They brought great energy to the game and were fun to watch. It was a special night of Cape Fear Soccer as we were able to honor former US Women's National Team player and local coaching legend Kim Crabbe. Thank you to everyone who helped promote the night and to all those that came out to support Coach Kim and the Sea Devils. Southwest Virginia CC is a brand-new program. They fought hard for each other for the entire game".

The Sea Devils improve to 4-1 in conference play and 7-1 on the season.

They travel to Columbia, SC Wednesday, October 2nd as they take on Allen University. Kick-off is set for 3:00 p.m. at Southeastern Freight Lines Soccer Center in Columbia, SC.
