Wilson, NC- Women's soccer defeats Barton College Developmental team 3-0!
The Sea Devils got the ball rolling quickly in the first half. They were able to score three goals within the first 30 minutes of the game! Trinity Davis was a huge asset for the Sea Devils as she notched two goals. Abbey Cowan added into the scoring as she scored a header to put the Sea Devils up 3-0 going into the half. De'Sheryl Hill and Gabby Kirkman combined to earn the shutout in goal,
Coach Ryan Deppa says "We scored some nice goals today. We showed signs of fatigue throughout the game, but even so, they found a way to earn the result on the road. Earning the 10th shutout of the season is a nice way to end the weekend".
The Sea Devils are now 12-1-1 on the season and 5-1-1 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Monday October 21st as they take on Louisburg College in the final conference game of the regular season. Kick-off is set for 7:30 pm at Legion Stadium.
