Lancaster, SC - Cape Fear women's soccer lost 2-0 to Spartanburg Methodist in the NJCAA Region 10 Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

Spartanburg Methodist was the top ranked seed in Region 10, they entered today's game with an overall record of 11-5-1 and a conference record of 7-1. The Sea Devils were the second ranked team in Region 10 with an overall record of 13-2-1 and a conference record of 6-1-1.

Spartanburg Methodist got on the scoresheet halfway through the first half and again 38 minutes into the first half. The score remained the same for the second half. Cape Fear had several shots on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net.

It was a tough battle for the Sea Devils and the loss unfortunately ends another strong season for the women's soccer team.
