Holly Springs, NC - The Lady Sea Devils tie Wake Tech Community College 1-1 in double overtime.
The Sea Devils were able to strike first as they were up 1-0 going into half time. The Sea Devils lone goal was scored by Maggie Hall who was able to convert off a corner kick. As the second half got underway Wake Tech was able to tie the game up 1-1. The game ended up going into double overtime with the final outcome being a tie between both teams.
Coach Ryan Deppa says "I thought our team worked hard and created some quality moments. We will learn from this game, like we have with all of them this season, and we will continue to push forward".
The Sea Devils are now 8-1-1 on the season and 4-1-1 in conference play.
Their next game is scheduled for Thursday, October 10th in Allendale, SC. Kick-off is set for 4:00 as they take on conference opponent USC Salkehatchie.
