Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball defeated Lenoir Community College 101-42 on Wednesday.
Four Sea Devils players scored in double figures, including Dynasty Heyward, who led with 17 points, Ny Langley, who finished with 14, Tracey Kemp, who scored 12, and Taylor Todd-Williams, who added 10.
Heyward currently leads the team in scoring at 14 points per game. Langley and Kemp are also averaging double digits in scoring at 11 and 10.7 points per game, respectively.
"I was proud of how aggressive my team came out in the second half defensively," said head coach Lori Drake. "Also, to break one hundred on the scoreboard is impressive."
Cape Fear improves to 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. They currently hold a two game winning streak with wins over Albany Tech and Lenoir.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, November 17th, where they will take on Patrick Henry Community College on the road at 1:00 p.m. The game marks a three game road trip for the Sea Devils, who will face off against three straight conference opponents before returning home on December 1st.
