Spartanburg, SC - Cape Fear women's basketball defeated Spartanburg Methodist on the road 82-52 on Saturday.
Three Sea Devils scored in double figures, including A'Terria Quick, who led with 14 points, and Ny Langley and Tracey Kemp, who each finished with 13.
Cape Fear jumped out to a 24-13 first quarter lead and led Spartanburg by 21 at halftime. After the Pioneers held Cape Fear to just 12 points in the third, the Sea Devils outscored them by 12 in the final quarter to win by 30.
"Our ladies really performed well today," said head coach Lori Drake. "They looked the best they have looked all year, which is exciting going into the break."
The Sea Devils improve to 8-2 on the season and 6-1 in conference play. Their next game is Wednesday, December 19th, where they will take on Louisburg College at Laney High School in Wilmington at 7:00 p.m.
