Louisburg, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball finished off the month of February with a 100-80 win over Louisburg College.
Two Sea Devils scored at least 20 points, with Ny Langley finishing with a team high 23, and Ayonna Cotten adding 20.
"Our ladies came focused and ready to secure our last road win of the regular season," said head coach Lori Drake. "We will now put our focus on the conference tourney over the next week."
Wednesday's win capped off an undefeated month of February for Cape Fear. The team went 6-0 during the month, and currently hold a seven game winning streak dating back to January 30th.
The Sea Devils finished the regular season with an overall record of 22-4 and a conference record of 17-3. Depending on the result of the game between Bryant & Stratton College and Clinton College, Cape Fear could end up tying for 1st place in the conference with Bryant & Stratton.
With the regular season over, the Sea Devils will look ahead to the NJCAA Region 10 Conference Tournament. The tournament runs from March 7th-9th at Louisburg College. Once seeding is finalized, the team will know their opponent and the time of the game.
