In Short: Cape Fear Women's Basketball earns another road win as they continue their 4-0 winning streak.

Highlights:

While the Sea Devils still have not seen a home matchup yet this season due to game postponements, that hasn't stopped Cape Fear from finishing off opponents on the road.

The Sea Devils started off strong against the Hurricanes as they led 27-18 in the first quarter. Freshman Senali Moss led the charge with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals to round out the game with her work ethic and perseverance. While Cape Fear stalled out minimally on defense moving into the second quarter, Cape Fear continued to rack up points and keep their lead intact.

Moving into the second half, Cape Fear continued to control the tempo until the final minutes when the Hurricanes went on a small streak to begin closing the gap. However, the Sea Devils did not let up offensively and were able to capitalize on forcing steals and drawing fouls against Louisburg to finish things out.

Sophomore returner Imani Sutton was a force to be reckoned with on offense - scoring team-high 20 points while draining 4 3-pointers. Newcomers Shaylin Pollock and Alonna Dunlap dominated in the paint as they collectively totaled 24 points and 19 rebounds across both ends of the floor.

"While the game had some ups and downs, we strive to focus on ourselves instead of the other team when making adjustments," remarks Assistant Coach Taylor Todd-Williams. "Our biggest focus was to control the tempo, which we were ultimately able to do."

Up Next: Cape Fear Women's Basketball will take a week off before traveling to play Fayetteville Tech on Monday, December 12th at 6PM.
