In Short: Cape Fear Women's Basketball finished off local rivals, the Brunswick Dolphins, and kept their winning streak alive at 11-0.

Highlights:

The Sea Devils traveled over to neighboring Brunswick, NC to take on the Brunswick Dolphins yesterday evening. After taking the time to reflect on the previous weekend's matchups and what they could improve on, Cape Fear came out strong and were able to close out another great win to add to their streak.

Cape Fear started off the matchup strong as Sophomore returner Imani Sutton landed 4 clutch 3-pointers. The Sea Devils were able to minimize their turnovers and missed layup opportunities that held them back in games past, while also finding a fresh, solid offensive rhythm as a cohesive unit.

Across the entire Sea Devil lineup, they succeeded in forcing turnovers, capitalizing on fast break transition buckets, and keeping the energy high and contagious throughout the game. The Sea Devils look forward to their next matchup as they continue to grow and work together to achieve new heights.

"You can tell that the girls are getting more comfortable playing together as a team," says Assistant Coach Taylor Todd-Williams. "There are a few kinks we are still working out, but we definitely see improvement after every game we've had."

Up Next: Cape Fear Women's Basketball will take the weekend off and will return to action at home on Monday, January 16th to take on the Louisburg Hurricanes at 6PM.
