The Cape Fear Community College Men's Soccer Team tied the USC Salkehatchie Indians this past weekend by the score of 1 to 1 in double overtime. The tie keeps CFCC remained undefeated in Region 10 play, with a 2-0-1 record. Sergio Esparrago scored in the 4th minute of the game with an assist from Emmett Lunceford. Owayne Warsop scored for the Indians just before half time, off an assist by Jack Johnson.
The Sea Devils out-shot USC-Salkehatchie 14 to 9 with Sea Devil goalkeeper Dakota Moore registering four saves. The Sea Devils moved to 5-1-1 overall and will return home this Wednesday as host #2 national ranked Louisburg College. Kickoff is set for 5pm they at the North Campus Soccer Complex.
