Wilmington, NC - The CFCC women's basketball team suffered a "tough, gut-wrenching" loss at home tonight 57-56 vs. Guilford Technical Community College according to CFCC head coach Lori Drake. Earlier this season, the team Leading the team's efforts were Porsha Buchanan with 22 points, 4 assists and 5 steals. Alexis Redd added 16 points. This was the fifth consecutive loss for the team, which is in their first year. Drake said that the team is staying positive despite tonight's defeat and will look for a victory on Sunday, Feb. 10 vs. Roxbury Community College at 2 p.m. in the Schwartz Center. The team's current NJCAA record is 3-5 and 8-9 overall.
