Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear women's volleyball picked up their first conference win of the season by defeating Lenoir Community College 3-0.
The Sea Devils won three straight sets against Lenoir by scores of 25-21, 25-19, and 25-20.
Angelica Biele led the team with 8 kills and 14 assists. Ceri'on Ellis Mosley had 10 kills while Callie Weaver picked up 4 aces.
"I'm happy to pick up our first conference win! We continue to get better with each set. We made a lot of unforced errors this evening which isn't typical for us but we were able to excel in other areas to make up for the errors," said head coach Heather Emborsky.
Cape Fear's record now stands at 4-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play. Their next match is scheduled for Friday, September 20th where they will face off against Davidson County Community College at 10:30am in the Region X-travaganza Tournament in Hickory, NC.
