Cape Fear vs Richard Bland
Cape Fear wins 2-0
Highlights: Cape Fear Women's Soccer secured a 2-0 victory over Richard Bland, dominating possession throughout the match. Richard Bland set up a strong defensive wall with five players in the back, making it difficult for Cape Fear to break through, but ultimately, the Sea Devils found the answers they needed to secure the win.
Brynli Baker was instrumental in both of Cape Fear's goals, delivering two key assists. In the first half, Baker sent in a precise cross to Johanna Morales, who calmly finished it into the back of the net. Later in the match, Baker struck a powerful corner kick that found Kenliana Dixon, who headed the ball home for the second goal.
While Richard Bland focused heavily on defense and struggled to generate much offensive momentum, Cape Fear maintained control of the game and sealed the win. This victory adds another solid performance to the Sea Devils' season as they continue to build momentum heading into postseason play.
Final Thoughts: "Very pleased with our win as we celebrated our Sophomores for Sophomore Day," says Head Coach C.W. Ponton. "Glad we finished strong at the top spot in the conference moving into postseason play for Region 10."
