In Short: The Sea Devils managed to sweep both Davidson-Davie and Guilford Tech to solidify their place at the top of the Region 10 Conference.

Highlights: Cape Fear Community College Volleyball secured their win over Davidson-Davie with a strong serving game that kept their opponents off balance and out of system throughout the match. Addy Sechrist set the tone early in each set, sparking Cape Fear with a series of aces and extended service runs that gave the Sea Devils commanding leads.

Sechrist led the charge with 9 aces and 17 digs, while Mackenzie Davis powered the offense with 11 kills. Emma Schwarting contributed 9 kills and 2 blocks with an outstanding .615 attack percentage. Brooke Bombatepe orchestrated the offense with 25 assists and added 3 aces of her own, helping Cape Fear control the match on both sides of the ball.

With a solid all-around team effort, particularly from players stepping into new roles, the Sea Devils showed great versatility and execution in the sweep.

Moving into the Sea Devils' win over Guilford Tech, Cape Fear secured a 3-0 sweep through maintaining consistent play across the board. The Sea Devils hit over .300 as a team and recorded an impressive 18 aces in just three sets, showcasing their serving strength and offensive efficiency.

Sarah Siebert came out swinging early on with 5 kills in the opening set - creating a lead that Guilford could never recover from. Mackenzie Davis led the attack with 7 kills, while Emma Schwarting and Siebert added 6 kills each. Nevaeh Ortiz delivered 4 aces, and Brooke Bombatepe contributed 6 aces, keeping the pressure on their opponents throughout.

With contributions from the entire roster and a well-rounded performance, Cape Fear celebrated another dominant region sweep as they continue to climb the ladder to the top of the Region 10 Conference.
