Highlights: Cape Fear Volleyball continues their strong form with a 3-0 sweep over Pitt, showcasing a balanced offense and stellar play from the middles. Emma Schwarting led the charge with 9 kills, while Addi Olson, Mackenzie Davis, and Emma Anderson each contributed 8 kills, creating a potent offensive front.
Despite Pitt's fight in the second and third sets, capitalizing on a few communication lapses from the Sea Devils, Cape Fear held firm. Quinn Meiser anchored the defense with 24 digs, supported by Mackenzie Davis' 16 digs. Brooke Bombatepe contributed 23 assists and 11 digs, while Kori Jennings added 18 assists to keep the offense moving smoothly.
While the Sea Devils continue to tighten up on unforced errors, their continued effort and ability to correct mistakes in real time puts them in a unique position to prepare for post-season play as the Region 10 Tournament nears.
